Leo Franco made it clear Huesca could have no shame in losing 8-2 to ‘best team in the world’ Barcelona on Sunday.
“It’s not easy to concede so many goals in a single match, but I’m left with many positive things,” the Coach said after the game.
“The first half we had is something to be appreciated. I asked the team to be brave and they measured ourselves against the best team in the world.
“The result is heavy and I’m responsible, but we looked very mature in the first half and I’m very grateful for it.
“I would’ve betrayed my principles if we came out differently, despite facing the best team in the world.
“We were very good at certain points. It’s not an easy defeat to take but we have to learn to recover and reverse what happened.”
