Filipe Luis reportedly wants to leave Atletico Madrid and join Paris Saint-Germain before August 31.
According to Cadena SER, Filipe has received ‘a good offer’ from PSG after ‘several failed attempts’ to renew his contract with Atleti, while talks are already under way between the two clubs.
The French giants are in need of a left-back after selling Yuri Berchiche to Athletic Bilbao, while the 33-year-old has fallen behind Lucas Hernandez in Los Colchoneros’ pecking order.
However, Lucas would be Diego Simeone’s left-back option if the Brazilian departed, with new arrival Jonny Castro loaned out to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The broadcaster believes Atleti could make a late move for Bayern Munich’s Juan Bernat to replace Filipe, although no decision is expected until Tuesday.
