Leganes have completed the signing of forward Jose Arnaiz from Barcelona in a permanent deal reported to be in the region of €5m.
The 23-year-old signed for the Catalan giants last year when they signed him from La Liga 123 outfit Real Valladolid in a €3.4m deal.
In June, Barca refuted claims from Getafe president Angel Torres that Los Azulones had ‘closed’ the signing of the forward, who is often deployed on the wing.
The Spaniard played five matches for Barca last season and netted three goals – all in the Copa del Rey – while he has mainly featured for Barca B.
Arnaiz was thought to be open to a move which would likely see him gain more first-team football and has put pen to paper on a five-year contract.
