Sevilla have officially signed striker Andre Silva from Milan on loan with a reported €38m option to buy.
The deal was confirmed in a statement on Sevilla’s website, which described Silva as ‘one of the most promising strikers in Europe’.
The Portuguese was one of Milan’s big-money signings a year ago, arriving from Porto for €38m plus bonuses, but scored just two Serie A goals in 2017-18.
However, he managed to net 24 times in 58 appearances for Porto and has 12 goals in 26 caps for his country, representing them at the World Cup in Russia.
Silva becomes the Andalusians seventh summer signing after the likes of Ibrahim Amadou, Tomas Vaclik and Aleix Vidal.
