The fight for the No 1 jersey at the Santiago Bernabeu has already begun, with Keylor Navas responding to Thibaut Courtois’s comments.
The Belgian declared at his Real Madrid presentation on Thursday that when he went to Chelsea he was up against the established Petr Cech, and ended up dislodging him from the starting line-up.
However, Costa Rican international Navas has not remained idle and responded indirectly through his Instagram account.
“Not even back, and gaining momentum. An excellent day’s work!” he wrote.
