Paris Saint-Germain winger Goncalo Guedes has set his heart on signing for Valencia this season, as revealed by Marca.
The Portugal international spent last year on loan at Mestalla, making 33 league appearances and scoring five goals, and after previously failing to make an impact with the Ligue 1 giants Los Che are his number one choice, despite interest from several English teams.
However, with the summer transfer window in England now closed the 21-year-old has seen his chances of a return to Spain improve, and has made it very clear where he wants to play next term.
The French club left Guedes at home during their recent pre-season tour of Singapore and, despite a reported bid from Watford earlier this week, will need to make a decision on the player’s future before the end of August.
It is understood PSG currently have an offer of €40m on the table from Valencia, yet with the closure of the English market may seriously have to enter into negotiations with the Spanish club if the player is to be granted his wish.
