Former Barcelona star and Brazil international Rivaldo claims compatriot Neymar will still end up playing for Real Madrid.
Neymar has been constantly linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and Rivaldo is convinced his countryman will one day grace the Santiago Bernabeu.
“Right now I have to believe his word he will stay at Paris Saint-Germain, but from what I am aware of and the comments I hear, I believe that sooner or later he will end up at Real Madrid,” declared the Barca legend in an interview with Betfair, whom he represents as an ambassador.
Even so, Rivaldo did not dismiss the possibility that the ex-Barca star could still leave the Ligue 1 outfit before summer transfer deadline, although he conceded it would be unlikely.
“It seems likely Neymar will remain in France at least one more year, but with such a crazy transfer market nobody knows what will happen from one day to the next, so anything is possible.”
