Milan’s Bacca back to Spain?

Milan forward Carlos Bacca could be set for a return to Spain this summer for a third stint in his career, according to reports.

The Colombian international spent last season on loan at Villarreal, where he netted 15 La Liga goals in just 30 starts.

Calciomercato.com say the Yellow Submarine are interested in bringing the striker back to the club despite their record signings of striking duo Gerard Moreno and Karl-Toko Ekambi this summer.

The Rossoneri are keen to sell the 31-year-old this summer but Calciomercato.com said last month he has decided to turn down a move to Trabzonspor.

The Turkish club had reportedly offered the striker €5m per year over three seasons, plus a €2m bonus signing-on fee.

Fresh reports say the former Sevilla striker may yet return to Spain this summer in some forms with clubs beside Villarreal also interested in a deal, although no specific team was mentioned.
