Andre Gomes (pictured) and Denis Suarez have both been ruled out of the remainder of Barcelona’s pre-season with injuries.
The midfield duo have flown back to the Catalan capital after being withdrawn in the first half of the 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Saturday night with hamstring injuries.
Both players had been linked with exits from the Camp Nou this summer but this development has seriously impacted the chances of departures.
The pair had been hoping to take advantage of Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets both still being on holiday following their World Cup exploits.
Gomes, 24, is set to be out for two months and had been linked with Arsenal and Juventus while Suarez is set to miss a few weeks, having been linked to Real Betis.
