Pallotta: Barca acted unethically

Roma President James Pallotta has labelled Barcelona’s late swoop to sign Malcom from under their noses as unethical.

Pallotta, though, felt able to make a joke out of the issue by suggesting that he would forgive the Catalans if they were to send Lionel Messi to Roma in return.

“Barcelona have apologised to us but I didn’t accept their apologies,” he reportedly commented in a radio interview.

“The only way to accept their apologies is if they decide do give us Messi. Barcelona intervened in an unethical way.

“Our director of football Monchi was involved in a conference call with Malcom’s agent and an agreement was reached.

“We’ve taken legal advice and it appears Bordeaux will now be called to testify,” he declared.
