Atletico Madrid fans have taken to social media to show their indignation at the coverage of their teams’ friendly with Arsenal.
The Singapore International Champions Cup clash finished 1-1 after normal time and needed to be settled by penalties, which Atleti eventually won.
However, fans in Spain were unable to see the shoot-out live as BeIn Sports cut short their broadcast in the country to televise the start of the Juventus versus Bayern Munich clash, which obviously did not feature a Spanish team and did not even have the added attraction of seeing Cristiano Ronaldo in a Juve shirt.
All of which forced Los Rojiblancos’ fans to react with messages of anger at the strange decision, which left supporters, Atleti fans or not, unable to see the outcome of the game.
