Valencia defender Martin Montoya is in talks with Real Betis and Napoli regarding a summer transfer, his agent has confirmed.
The 27-year-old looks set to leave the Mestalla after two seasons following the arrival of Cristiano Piccini from Sporting CP, with Betis and Napoli heavily linked.
“Napoli have been asking for information about my client for a long time and we are in constant contact,” Juan de Dios Carrasco told CalcioNapoli24, as cited by Diario Sport.
“Everything is possible and Martín would be happy to wear the shirt of a club as prestigious as Napoli and we are also talking to Betis, Nothing has been decided.”
Montoya spent the second half of the 2015-16 season on loan at Betis, where he made 13 appearances, having spent five years in Barcelona’s first-team squad.
