The representatives of Bordeaux’s Malcom have arrived in Barcelona as they attempt to gazump Roma’s move for the winger, say reports.
According to Catalan radio station Rac1, the Blaugrana are in ‘advanced talks’ to sign the Brazilian and a deal could be completed as early as Tuesday.
It was expected that Malcom would arrive at Roma on Monday night after the clubs agreed a fee and medicals were arranged, with hundreds of Giallorossi fans turning up at the Rome airport.
The 21-year-old netted 12 goals and provided seven assists, leading to links with clubs from Italy, England, France and Spain.
Now the future of Malcom is up in the air with it unclear if he will play for Roma – which is reportedly his preferred choice – or the Catalan giants, whom Bordeaux are keen to do business with.
