Espanyol are expected to complete the signing of Celta Vigo striker Borja Iglesias early this week, according to reports.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at La Liga 123 club Real Zaragoza, where he netted 23 goals in 43 appearances.
The striker initially joined Celta in the summer of 2013 but spent the following four seasons in the club’s B team, where he scored 75 goals in 146 matches.
Widespread reports now suggest he will complete his move to the Catalan club in the coming days although no transfer fee has been reported.
Iglesias will replace Gerard Moreno – who has joined Villarreal – at the RCDE Stadium.
