Courtois drops Madrid hint

Reported Real Madrid target Thibaut Courtois has confirmed that he will make a decision on his future after the World Cup.

Courtois has been heavily linked with replacing Keylor Navas as Madrid’s No 1 for some time, especially as he already three years of experience in La Liga with city rivals Atletico.

“Roberto Martinez? People in England know him very well, he’s a very attacking Coach, he likes to defend with possession,” the Chelsea goalkeeper, who is preparing for Belgium’s semi-final against France, told Onda Cera.

“In the match against Brazil, our defensive system changed and they didn’t expect it. It’s given us a feeling of union.

“Now we’re one, only one team, with a well-defined attack and the same at the back. My future? I’m not thinking about anything right now that isn’t the World Cup.

“This World Cup can mark our generation and we must be totally focused. After the World Cup, in around eight or nine days, I’ll decide what’s best for me. I’ll talk later.”
