Carvajal: Madrid locker for Neymar

Dani Carvajal insists Real Madrid will ‘keep a locker’ for Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar, who has been linked with a move to the European champions.

The Brazil international left Barcelona for the Parisians in a world record €222m deal last summer but he has been continually linked to Madrid in recent months.

“He would bring many good things,” Neymar told El Larguero, in quotes cited by ESPN FC.

“Neymar is one of the best players in the world, and Madrid always try and get the best to play with us.

“He is an excellent player who would bring us many good things. So if the president has decided to sign him, we'll have to keep him a locker.

“Alvaro Odriozola? If the boss and the president and everyone believe it is necessary, he will be welcome.

“Alvaro is a good player, young, very quick, crosses well, good in defence – a very complete player.

“If Madrid decide to sign him, then he will bring us many things for sure.”
