Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz is expected to complete his move to Italian club Napoli this week despite a delay, according to reports.
The Spain Under-21 international is expected to join the Naples-based club in a €30m deal on a five-year contract, worth a reported €2.5m per annum.
However, there are reportedly small issues still to iron out but CalcioNapoli24 say a move is still expected to go through.
“I can confirm that I am joining Napoli, but I do not know when it will be made official,” Fabian told the Italian press last week, as cited by Sevilla Info.
Fabian renewed his contract at Los Verdiblancos until 2023 in January, reportedly hiking his release clause from a lowly €12m to a fee in excess of €30m.
The Betis youth product netted three goals in 34 Liga appearances this season as the club secured a top six finish and a return to European football.
