Former Real Madrid player Guti (pictured centre) has agreed a new two-year deal to extend his coaching of the club’s Juvenil side.
The former midfielder spent 15 years as a player in Madrid’s first team between 1995 and 2010, while he has managed the club’s Juvenil A side since 2013.
Guti will now attempt to finish the season with silverware as he prepares his side to face Atletico Madrid in the Juvenil Copa del Rey final on Sunday.
The Under-19 Coach had recently held talks to become the assistant at Besiktas, according to Marca, while he was also in the frame to replace Zinedine Zidane in the first-team hot seat.
