Real Madrid ‘accelerate’ Alisson talks

Real Madrid have reopened negotiations for in-demand Roma goalkeeper and Brazil international Alisson Becker, say reports in Spain.

Marca say that now the club have confirmed Julen Lopetegui as their new Coach, replacing Zinedine Zidane, the European champions have prioritised the signing of the Brazilian.

The 25-year-old is set to be the starting goalkeeper for Brazil at this summer’s World Cup and earlier this week called on his representatives to clarify his club future as soon as possible.

Alisson has also been linked with moves to Chelsea and Liverpool, but he is under contract in Italy until 2021.

Keylor Navas has been the long-standing number one at the Bernabeu, with Manchester United shot-stopper and Spain international previously heavily linked to a move.
