Real Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan is closing in on a move to Portuguese giants Sporting CP, according to reports.
The 31-year-old has been the first-choice at the Seville-based club since joining from Cagliari in 2014 but Portuguese outlet Record now say he is in ‘advanced talks’ with Sporting.
Betis are said to have agreed a deal for out-of-contract Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez, who would become first-choice with Quique Setien’s side, who will compete in the Europa League next season.
Long-serving Sporting goalkeeper and Portugal international Rui Patricio looks set to leave the club this summer and is said to be actively trying to terminate his contract, with Napoli and Wolves both linked.
