Villarreal have completed the signing of Angers striker and Cameroon international Karl Toko Ekambi (pictured right) on a five-year contract.
The 25-year-old hit 17 goals in 37 Ligue 1 appearances this season and has joined the Yellow Submarine in a move worth a reported €20m.
The Paris-born forward enjoyed a real breakthrough campaign in his second season at Angers, who are set to secure their largest ever sale, having previously played for Paris FC and Sochaux.
Carlos Bacca, who spent last season on loan at Villarreal from Milan, is said to be unlikely to return to the club next season.
Last season, Ekambi also won the Marc-Vivien Foe Award, recognising the best African player in Ligue 1 in a campaign when he also notched six assists.
