Marseille want Sevilla’s Ben Yedder

Marseille are interested in a move for Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder this summer, according to reports in the Spanish press.

The Franco-Tunisian striker netted 22 goals this season despite being rotated with Luis Muriel and Sandro Ramirez, with El Desmarque reporting the Andalusian club would be willing to listen for offers.

New Sevilla Coach Pablo Machin reportedly would not favour the 27-year-old in his style of play but would not actively want to sell the striker.

France Football have previously cited a deal with Marseille, who are also said to be considering a move for Nice striker Mario Balotelli.

Ben Yedder’s contract with Sevilla runs through to June 2021 and his deal includes a €30m release clause.
