Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann has reportedly rejected an offer to become Real Madrid’s next Coach.
According to Bild, Nagelsmann has emerged as the fourth name on Madrid’s managerial shortlist after Mauricio Pochettino, Max Allegri and Jurgen Klopp.
The newspaper explains the 30-year-old would not come cheap as he is contracted to Hoffenheim in 2021, although still cheaper than the aforementioned trio.
He would have an exit clause in his contract for 2019, yet it is claimed Los Blancos have already contacted the German – only for him to pass up the opportunity.
Nagelsmann became the youngest Coach in Bundesliga when he took over Hoffenheim in February 2016 and has gone on to qualify the side for next season’s Champions League.
