Sevilla are hopeful of a return for Barcelona defender Aleix Vidal this summer as they attempt to reinforce their squad, say reports in Spain.
Marca indicate both Los Rojiblancos and the player are keen on the move having also attempted to bring the wing-back to the club in January.
However, the Catalan giants reportedly did not back down on their demands of a €12m initial fee alongside €3m in add-ons, which priced him out of Sevilla’s budget.
The 28-year-old initially joined the Blaugrana from Sevilla in the summer of 2015 for a €28m which included add-ons.
Vidal has failed to make an impact, starting only 15 La Liga games and has played second fiddle to Dani Alves, Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo.
