Real Madrid in for Mbappe?

Real Madrid have made Kylian Mbappe a target for next season and are even willing to give up their pursuit of Neymar to land him.

An exclusive report in Sport.com claims Los Blancos’ interest in signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain has been a smokescreen to hide their real intentions – which are to bring Mbappe to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 19-year-old scoring sensation was courted by Madrid last summer but the Ligue 1 club beat them to his signature and took him from Monaco on loan, ostensibly to get around FIFA’s Financial Fair Play rules, with an option to sign him this July for €180m.

The French club have insisted Neymar is going nowhere, while Madrid could see this as the ideal time to lure Mbappe to Spain and out of the clutches of clubs like Manchester City, who are also reported to be keen on the youngster.
