Cazorla: I don’t know my future

Arsenal playmaker Santi Cazorla has spoken of his frustration at his continued injury problems and admits he may leave the club this summer.

The Spaniard has sat out over a year of action after suffering the injury in a Champions League match and revealed in November how doctors had told him he would be lucky to walk again.

“It was a very close tie, we did not deserve to lose based on our performances,” Cazorla is cited as saying by El Mundo Deportivo.

“I have a hard time watching him from outside and in important matches this feeling is even more highlighted…it has been very frustrating.

“We wanted to reach the final to help to save the season, for the club, the fans and the Coach but now we must focus on a strong league finish.

“My contract? It finishes in June and I do not know anything about my future and remember, I’m going little by little with the injury.

“Atletico are the big favourites for the final, they were already when they were eliminated from the Champions League.

"We wanted to reach the final to save the season, for the club, for the coach, for the fans, to stay at the door is very hard and we will try to finish in the best possible way."
