Madrid cool interest in Hazard

Real Madrid have cooled their interest in signing Chelsea's attacking star Eden Hazard this summer, according to reports.

The Belgian international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge and the European champions reportedly held a strong interest.

However, the London Evening Standard now reports Los Blancos no longer have the playmaker as a transfer priority due to the form of both Isco and Marco Asensio.

Madrid “were expected to step up their interest, it is understood that they have yet to make any form of inquiry to Chelsea or the Belgium international's entourage and are not in any rush to do so.”

The report also notes that Hazard’s perceived dip in form has meant officials at the Bernabeu are no longer considering an ‘imminent’ approach.
