Man City ‘launch £75m Isco bid’

Manchester City may be ready to pounce on the potential availability of Real Madrid playmaker Isco this summer, according to reports.

A report in El Chiringuito TV outlined how Pep Guardiola’s side have made initial contacts regarding a sensational move for the Spain international this summer.

Such reports have been followed up in the British press by The Daily Mirror, which states City are preparing to launch a bid of €83m (£75m) this summer.

Earlier this week, ABC cited a report in English tabloid The Sun which spoke of a potential €86m (£80m) bid incoming when the transfer window reopens.

The Citizens would be willing to offer the 25-year-old an annual salary of €10m, which is €4m more than his current wage packed at the Bernabeu.

However, such reports must be taken in the context of the playmaker’s current contract holding a €700m release clause following a new deal signed in September.
