Reports: Emery out, Conte in at PSG

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly begun talks with Antonio Conte’s representatives, with Unai Emery set to be dismissed at the end of the season.

Emery is widely expected to be dismissed this summer after a successive Champions League exits at the last 16 stage, with the current Chelsea boss now favourite to replace him at the Parc des Princes.

The former Almeria and Valencia Coach was instilled at the Parisian club in June 2016 after a three-year stint in charge of Sevilla, where he won three Europa League titles.

However, he could not translate this European success into his time at France and his position was weakened further by missing out on last season’s Ligue 1 title to Monaco.

The widespread reports across both the English and French press suggest Conte will replace Emery in the PSG hot-seat, with the Basque native linked to a possible summer switch to Real Sociedad – for whom he was a boyhood fan.
