Reported Barcelona-target Stefan De Vrij has turned down the opportunity to move to Spain and will instead sign for Inter from Lazio.
The Dutch international will be a free agent in June and is therefore open to negotiate with any club and Gazzetta dello Sport claim a deal has been finalised with the Milanese giants.
Diario Sport follows up on reports from the Italian media outlet this weekend that Barca had launched a late move for the 26-year-old, who was giving the approach ‘serious thought’.
De Vrij is now reportedly set to sign a five-year contract at the Nerazzurri and remain in Serie A.
