Chelsea forward Willian believes his side must play the ‘perfect match’ at the Camp Nou if they are to eliminate Barcelona in the Champions League.
The Brazilian gave the English champions a first leg lead before Lionel Messi’s equaliser, meaning the Blues have it all to do in Wednesday night’s tie.
“The match is a really difficult one for us and if we want to progress, we must be perfect,” Willian told a pre-match press conference, as cited by Diario Sport.
“We have to do a similar job as the one we tried at Stamford Bridge, we know how Barcelona like to play with possession and we must formulate a plan to combat that.
“We have to be more clinical when we have the ball and be more decisive in attack, and when we are not in possession we must be strong and compact.
“The pitch at the Camp Nou is big so we must stay as a unit, not to concede and to counter-attack well.
“The 2012 triumph? Every game has its own history and Wednesday’s game will be different, we can only focus on ourselves and how we work.
“We know Messi’s qualities and what he is capable of – he can do whatever he wants to on the pitch, but we must be wary of their entire team.”
