Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti reportedly wants to join Barcelona this summer, but the Catalan club’s interest has cooled.
A report in L’Equipe states the midfielder’s agent Mino Raiola has contacted the Catalan giants directly to let them know of his client’s desire to move to the Camp Nou.
However, despite Barca pursuing an ultimately unsuccessful deal for the Italian last summer, El Mundo Deportivo report they are no longer interested in his signature.
The club have agreed the €39m signing of Brazilian Arthur from Gremio, while the recent outlay on Philippe Coutinho ensures the first-team squad is more competitive.
PSG reportedly value Verratti at €100m and the player’s reported desire to move this summer could alert a number of clubs.
