Barcelona Coach Ernesto Valverde will make a late decision on whether or not to start captain Andres Iniesta against Chelsea in the Champions League.
The 33-year-old sustained a muscular injury in the recent La Liga victory over Atletico Madrid but has returned to first-team training, and may feature on Wednesday night.
“Players will tend more to take risks for such big matches in order to participate, but Andres is smart and knows his own body,” Valverde told his pre-match press conference.
“We must take a decision on whether the risk is a calculated one or if it is excessive, and that is a decision which has not yet been decided upon.
“Andres completed most of Monday’s training session and has recovered well in a short space of time but this is not a match for taking risks of that nature.
“This is a huge game for us, a decisive match and we need all our players to be at 100%.”
