Inter want permanent Cancelo deal

Inter are keen to make Joao Cancelo’s loan move from Valencia permanent but the deal hinges on Geoffrey Kondogbia’s move the other way.

The Portuguese full-back is on a season-long loan at the Milanese giants, who have a €35m option to buy but are aware this might not be within Financial Fair Play regulations.

The Italian club are keen for Los Che to take up their €25m option to sign Geoffrey Kondogbia, currently on loan at the Mestalla, in order to facilitate their move for Cancelo.

However, there is no guarantee that Valencia – who reportedly must raise funds before reinvesting – will be able to raise that amount for the French midfielder before the 30 June deadline.

Tuttosport report Inter are seeking options as to how they can make Cancelo’s move permanent, despite the defending making just 8 Serie A starts this campaign.
