Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has described how his side ‘worked little’ under previous Coach Vincenzo Montella, now at Sevilla.
The Ivorian outlined why results for the Rossoneri have drastically improved under new boss Gennaro Gattuso, who is making the players ‘work much harder’.
“The dressing room is as united as it was before, but now under Gattuso is making us work much harder,” Kessie is cited as telling Premium Sport by ABC de Sevilla.
“We can see this with the results and performances on the pitch, because with Montella we worked little.”
Montella has won eight of his 15 matches in charge of Sevilla since replacing Eduardo Berizzo at the turn of the year.
