Neymar is considered a doubt for Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Real Madrid after he was stretchered off on Sunday.
Marca reports Neymar took a blow to his ankle in the 77th minute of PSG’s 3-0 victory over Olympique Marseille, before leaving Parc des Princes on a stretcher, with his hands on his head and showing “clear symptoms of pain”.
Fortunately for the French giants, they do not face Madrid again until March 6 – the week after next – although the former Barcelona star may yet be unable to help his teammates in overturning a 3-1 deficit.
