Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal believes ‘player’s anger is healthy’ if they are not getting regular first-team football.
The full-back was quizzed about reports of certain unnamed Madrid players not being fully happy with not featuring prominently in the side.
“There are 24 players in our squad and inevitably not all players will be able to future, but their anger is healthy,” Carvajal told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“If players who are not playing are happy, then that is bad for the team and bad for the squad, everyone needs the drive to perform at the highest level.
“Every player should want to play, but ultimately there a lot of games and the Coach here rotates a lot, so patience is also required.
“It is in our interest for the team to do well and we are all in the same boat together, and we all must be ready to contribute.”
