Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco is close to joining Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang in a €70m deal, say reports in Spain.
A report in Cadena Cope outlines the nature of the deal, where the Belgian’s former club Monaco will be entitled to 30% of any transfer fee.
The report also states the nature of discussion are ‘advanced’ but Atletico Coach Diego Simeone is ‘highly reluctant’ for any deal to go through.
Marca say Carrasco was due to play for Atleti against FC Copenhagen on Thursday night but has now been left out of the matchday squad with talks ongoing.
The 24-year-old has made only eight league starts for Los Rojiblancos this season as he has fallen out of favour, especially with the January arrivals of Diego Costa and Vitolo.
Carrasco netted for Atleti in their 2016 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.
