Cristiano Ronaldo has not been included for Real Madrid’s trip to Leganes on Wednesday evening to avoid fatigue and injury.
Ronaldo and Keylor Navas will both be rested for the trip to Butarque, while Toni Kroos (knee), Marcelo and Luka Modric (both hamstring) are all unavailable for Los Blancos.
Kiko Casilla, Theo Hernandez and Karim Benzema are all set to be handed starts after being on the bench against Real Betis during Sunday evening’s victory.
Isco is also pushing for a start in a game which would see Madrid climb into third place above Valencia with a victory.
The original match at Leganes had been scheduled for December but was rearranged due to Zinedine Zidane’s side’s participation in the Club World Cup.
