Barcelona Coach Ernesto Valverde could hand a surprise start to Aleix Vidal at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Diario Sport reports the full-back – a converted winger – could be handed the role as his pace could help combat the threat of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
It is thought that Sergi Roberto will start as right full-back with Vidal potentially playing ahead of him, in favour of either Andre Gomes or Paulinho.
The 28-year-old has never cemented his place in Barca’s side since joining from Sevilla in the summer of 2015, making only 14 league starts across two-and-a-half seasons with the club.
