Leganes Coach Asier Garitano insists his side are focused on lifting the Copa del Rey at the end of the season and won’t settle for less.
The Madrid-based club had never previously reached beyond the last 16 of the competition but knocked out Real Madrid at the quarter final stage in stunning fashion.
“Our only aim now is to win the Copa, not to just compete in the semi-final or final,” Garitano told his pre-match press conference, as cited by Marca.
“Nothing else matters now, because ultimately you will either have a trophy or you will not – our only thoughts and objective is to win and qualify for the final.
“In the Copa we want more, we are in the position to do more and in La Liga we are on track to meet our objectives.
“It will be tough to win in Sevilla, their fans always create a special atmosphere and we will have to deal with that, but we cannot become distracted.”
