Levante are set to complete the signing of Rubin Kazan midfielder Ruben Rochina, according to reports in the Spanish press.
The 26-year-old is set to leave the Russian club, who have come into financial difficulties in recent times and who reportedly owe the midfielder several months’ wages.
Respected RAC1 journalist Gerard Romero claims the left-footed midfielder has arrived into Valencia on Wednesday to complete his move to the struggling top flight club.
Rochina joined Rubin Kazan from Granada in a €10m deal in 2016 when Javi Gracia was the manager of the Eastern Europe side, signing several players from La Liga.
The Barcelona youth graduate spent three-and-a-half seasons in England with Blackburn Rovers whilst also enjoying short-term stints with Real Zaragoza and Rayo Vallecano.
