Inter are now sanctioning Sevilla’s proposed move for midfielder Marcelo Brozovic but are actively seeking a replacement, say reports.
A report in Sky Sport Italia outlined the Andalucian club had agreed a deal with the Croatian international, initially a €1m loan deal with a €28m purchase option included.
However, subsequent developments stated Coach Luciano Spalletti is refusing to sanction an exit for the 25-year-old unless he has a suitable replacement in the squad.
Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore has long been linked with a move to the Nerazzurri this month but no deal has yet gone through.
Sevilla have completed deals for full-back Miguel Layun, midfielder Roque Mesa and striker Sandro Ramirez in the past two days.
