Leeds United are considering bringing in goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who is currently on loan at Getafe from Arsenal, say reports.
The Gunners are said to be unhappy with the Argentine’s lack of game-time at the Madrid-based club this season, starting just three league games so far this season.
The 25-year-old has played second fiddle to Vicente Guaita this season, but the Spaniard has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace this month.
The two deals could be inter-linked with Getafe unlikely to sanction the departures of both goalkeepers, but Leeds Live – part of Trinity Mirror – claims Leeds want the shot-stopper.
Martinez could replace Andy Lonegran – who has joined Sunderland – at Elland Road, and is highly-rated at Arsenal, who reportedly view him as a long-term replacement for Petr Cech.
