Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz has agreed a new deal at the club with his release clause being doubled to €30m, according to reports.
ABC de Sevilla claim the deal, which will tie the 21-year-old to Los Verdiblancos until June 2022, should be announced on Friday following links to a move away.
A number of English Premier League clubs had been linked to the talented midfielder, most notably West Ham United, with David Moyes reportedly scouting the midfielder against Barcelona.
Fabian – who spent last season on loan at Elche – has proved a revelation at Los Verdiblancos this season, starring in 15 league games and scoring after 23 seconds in the Seville derby this month.
The report suggested Betis wanted a higher release clause of €40m but were negotiated down.
