Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois who would prefer a move to Real Madrid, say reports in Spain.
The 25-year-old’s deal at Stamford Bridge expires in June 2019 and his two kids are being raised in the Spanish capital, where he spent three years with Atletico Madrid between 2011 and 2014.
The Belgian shot-stopper’s two children live in the Spanish capital but a move to Paris would reportedly make him the highest paid goalkeeper in world football.
Diario AS states the Ligue 1 leaders have put the framework in place for a move, although Courtois has not yet responded to any such offer.
Madrid’s desire to sign the goalkeeper has increased following Kepa Arrizabalaga’s contract renewal with Athletic Bilbao.
