Defender German Pezzella wants Fiorentina to exercise their option to buy him on a permanent basis from Real Betis.
The 26-year-old Argentine – who also holds an Italian passport – is thought to have a clause in his contract with the Viola of a purchase option thought to be in the region of €10m.
“I am waiting for Fiorentina to exercise their option to buy,” Pezzella told reporters, as quoted by Marca.
“I came here on loan but with the option there to sign for four more years if Fiorentina exercised it and I am confident this will happen, but it does depend on the club.
“In any case, I have played my part and now I just need to wait and see, but at the time I saw this move as my best option.”
