Schalke have reiterated they are still confident of keeping midfielder Leon Goretzka despite interest from Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
The German international reportedly met club president Clemens Tonnies this week amid claims he would leave when his contract expires in June.
“There's nothing new to report,” Schalke’s sporting director Christian Heidel is cited as saying by ESPN.
“All of the club, including Tonnies, is fighting to keep him here.”
The 22-year-old has been reported in the German press of signing a deal with Bayern, although Barca are among the other clubs to reportedly maintain an interest.
