Jordi Alba has praised Barcelona’s team work and believes that, rather than individual displays, is behind their success this season.
The Blaugrana’s 4-2 victory at Real Sociedad on Sunday night re-established their nine-point lead at the top of the table, with Real Madrid now 19 points off the pace.
“The secret to our success is our team work,” Alba told reporters after the game, as quoted by Marca.
“Everybody is involved as a unit in terms of our defending, in our pressing and in winning the ball back, while our strikers can make the difference at the top.
“Anoeta is a ground in which we have suffered a lot so to win here represents a very important three points at a place where we have struggled before.
“19 points is a big gap but we must not forget that Real Madrid will not stop fighting and others are involved too.”
