Madrid clash on Kepa move – reports

Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez have reportedly clashed over the potential signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao.

Perez was said to be unimpressed with the tactician’s comments that the club did not need to strengthen their squad and questioning reports of any deal.

El Transistor state the two have not been on the same page regarding the potential signing of the Spain international with Zidane supporting current goalkeepers Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla.

Meanwhile, there are reports in Diario AS that Kepa may be out of action for the next three months with surgery required to fix a ‘complication’ from his Bernabeu medical earlier this month.

It is still unclear if the goalkeeper will join Madrid this month or not.
